American Diabetes Association - MN Area

The American Diabetes Association’s mission, to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes, can be seen in everything we do. The American Diabetes Association – Minnesota Area office helps provide valuable programs and life-saving resources to over 460,000 people in Minnesota facing the daily challenges of living with type 1 or type 2 diabetes (10.5% of the state population) and 1.5 million Minneostans with prediabetes, putting them at higher risk for developing type 2 diabetes. Our programs include an incredible summer camp called Camp Needlepoint & Daypoint, which has served thousands of children and teens living with diabetes since 1957, our empowering Twin Cities Tour de Cure cycling and walk/run event, and more.
