ClearCaptions

ClearCaptions is a captioning phone that is provided under a federally funded program at no cost to assist those with any level of hearing loss. It was created by the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) so that people could stay connected and communicate effectively on the phone. The ClearCaptions phone captions the conversation of the person you are talking to so that if you miss any of the conversation you can look down and read what the person is saying. The volume can go up to 50 decibels which is the highest on the market. The three requirements to obtain a phone are 1) Hearing loss, 2) Direct land line phone, and 3) Internet access.
