DIN is committed to addressing the problem of eating disorders on a societal level. We are devoted to:

  • Educating our community by being in the schools, reaching out to community organizations, corporations,  talking to parents, and facilitating training for professionals.
  • Increasing public awareness of the biological, psychological, familial, and cultural influences which contribute to the development of eating disorders.
  • Promoting early intervention by helping those already suffering to find the therapeutic services they need.
