Harnett County Emergency Services

Harnett County Emergency Services consists of three divisions-EMS, Fire Marshal, and Emergency Management. We coordinate local, state, and federal resources-both human and material to limit damages and expedite recovery from both manmade and natural disasters. We provide public awareness education programs, training to the community’s disaster organizations in emergency services and operations. We also provide cause and origin investigation of fires and arsons. We coordinate the county fire and rescue districts in order to develop a comprehensive emergency services system within the county. We conduct fire inspections in every building in the county according to the state fire code. We provide twenty four hour emergency medical services to the citizens of Harnett County as well as non-emergency transport care for the hospitals, nursing homes, and the invalid citizens of Harnett County.
