A gastroenterology medical office provides specialty medical services including colon cancer screening. Colon cancer screening is recommended for anybody over the age of 50 as a prevention to reduce the chance of developing colon cancer. Under certain insurance plans including Ericsson’s, the colon cancer prevention service (colonoscopy) it is covered under a office copay if it is done in our office.
