Dr. Amie Shimmel, a graduate of National University of Health Sciences with a Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine has practiced in Chicago and New York city for over 25 years. Dr. Shimmel has been a Fellow with the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture since 1989.
Dr. Shimmel believes in the incredible healing power of the body. In keeping with this philosophy she incorporates her passion for acupuncture with muscle testing. She is currently attending the Midwest School of Oriental Medicine where she is getting her Masters In Chinese Medicine and Advanced Acupuncture.
Dr. Shimmel takes pride in focusing on Patient’s concerns and health issues and builds good rapport, trust and loyalty with all her patients. her specialties include stress reduction, infertility and gastrointestinal issues. She is a firm believer in the worth of every individual and believes we all have miracles inside each of us.
