Salem Chest Specialists has been serving the Winston Salem area since 1980 and has steadily grown to 10 full-time physicians and 10 mid-level practitioners. We provide diagnostic and therapeutic services for patients with disorders of the respiratory system including chronic obstructive lung disease(emphysema and bronchitis), asthma, pulmonary fibrosis, lung cancer, pulmonary hypertension, respiratory infections, and sleep apnea. We also specialize in the care of hospitalized critically ill patients. All of our physicians are board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, and Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Thomason is also board certified in Sleep Medicine.
