Stream is a multi-billion dollar company headquartered in Texas that offers a variety of essential services nationwide.  Services offered include Virtual MD, a telehealth service accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Families pay one affordable monthly fee to connect with a licensed medical doctor to diagnose ailments typically handled at urgent care facilities. After speaking with the patient by phone or video chat, the doctor can prescribe medications and send the prescriptions to the patient’s preferred pharmacy.  Prescription discounts are also included with the service.  Patients are not required to have health insurance to use Virtual MD.  Those patients who do have health insurance can use Virtual MD as a supplement.
