Dr. Andy McMarlin, founder of Winning Health, is board-certified in sports medicine and brings 22 years of elite athlete experience to his patients. Dr. McMarlin and the Winning Health team specialize in sports medicine, arthritis care, and concussion management.
Dr. McMarlin’s Sports Medicine experience includes serving as a physician for DC United soccer team and the Washington Nationals baseball team, as well as for high school and college teams. In addition, his own athletic background has given him a personal passion for getting people back in the game. As an eight-time world Dragon boat champion paddler and a US Olympic Rowing Trials winner (Atlanta Games), Dr. McMarlin has a personal connection to his patients and their desires to get back to what they love.
As a former clinical instructor for students at the Georgetown University School of Medicine and the Uniformed Services School of Medicine, Dr. McMarlin also has a passion for educating his patients on all of their treatment options. He will take the time to help each patient understand their unique situation and places a high value on patient education.
