This 2-day experiential workshop will give team members a thorough understanding of Laughter Yoga…the history, applications, contra-indications, etc., and much practical experience so that they can confidently talk about and present it to various groups. All aspects of Laughter Yoga will be covered with lots of time for practice and integration.

Laughter Yoga combines unconditional laughter with yogic breathing. Anyone can laugh for no reason, without relying on humor, jokes, or comedy. Laughter is simulated as a body exercise in a group but with eye contact and childlike playfulness, it soon turns into real and contagious laughter. The concept of Laughter Yoga is based on the scientific fact that the body cannot differentiate between fake and real laughter. One gets the same physiological and psychological benefits. Laughter Yoga provides health benefits in a single exercise routine which reduces physical, mental, and emotional stress simultaneously and brings an emotional balance. People can feel the benefits from the very first session.

Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this training, participants will learn the following:
1. How to apply techniques that create positive behavioral changes in people, organizations, and communities.
2. Incorporate Laughter Yoga techniques in your life and work.
3. Use reliable and sustainable ways to get a daily D.O.S.E. of happiness (Dopamine, Oxytocin, Serotonin, Endorphins).
4. Build “laughter muscles,” enabling laughter to come naturally to you.
5. Effectively lead over 40 different Laughter Yoga exercises.
6. Quickly transform a group of strangers into a unified team.
7. How to run a successful Laughter Yoga Club.
8. Facilitate powerful laughter meditations, grounding techniques, and Pranayama breathing exercises.
9. How to give informational lectures, and conduct classes, workshops, and events with the general public, businesses, health facilities, nursing homes, special needs groups, etc.

Cost Description: $400.00 (26h 41m) per participant. Groups of 20 Participants will receive a 15% Discount. Payment Method: An Itemized Invoice will be emailed to your organization for all employees attending the 2-Day Workshop. Cancellations, Transfers, & Refund Policy: All cancellations and transfers must be made in writing, signed, and emailed toStephen@theshakhazone.com. We will confirm receipt within 24hrs. If you do not hear back from us within 24 hrs of your cancellation or transfer request, please call 713.790.1695. We’re easy and understand that cancellations can be due to unforeseen reasons. Refunds less a fixed administrative fee of US $25.00 (1h 41m) per participant will be given for cancellations received in writing.
