Do you want to start a walking, run-walk, or running program, but don’t know where to start, are intimidated by people who are “real runners”, or think you have to be in better shape before you start?
To help encourage our clients and others living/working in the Bethesda-area to get and stay active, we created a FREE walk, run-walk, run program. The program starts on August 3, 2016 and continues thru October 16, 2016. We leave from Nu’U Vitality Center’s office at 6:30 pm on Wednesdays and 8:30 am on Sundays.
Coming from work? No problem! You can change at our office. And since runners usually ask this question…yes we have bathrooms you can use as well as a water fountain (feel free to bring your water bottle with you). You leave belongings (car keys, extra clothes, etc.) in our office while you’re out, but please don’t bring valuables as we can’t be responsible for them.
To participate all you have to do is sign up and then show up. You don’t have to attend every session…just join us when you can!

Weren’t able to join us earlier in the day for this presentation? No worries–we’re offering it again in the evening to cater to those with different schedules! Come and learn a unique angle to healthy food choices. Here at Guiding Wellness Institute we focus on food as one of the foundations to a healthy lifestyle. This class gives you important info to consider when choosing the most beneficial food choices. A healthy food may be medicinal to one person and detrimental to another. Learn the unique significance of different blood types and how foods, types of exercise, and even personality traits can impact longevity and quality of life.
You do NOT need to know your blood type to join in this class. To find out your blood type you can check your marriage docs (if applicable), ask your doctor, or donate blood. Blood Type Testing Kits are also available for purchase online.

This month, Kelsy will explore the power of affirming, the practice of affirmations and the impact our vocabulary has on our mindset, our mood and our mindfulness practice. Connect with your unique language and the movement of the body with this in depth mindfulness and movement experience. Please come in comfortable clothing and bring your yoga mat if you have one.
